Lands of Hyrule
------------------------

Hyrule
With the same name as Hyrule the world, many races live within the barriers of Hyrule.

Kokiri, Zora, Goron, Gerudo, Sheikah, and Hylians all live in this land.

Ran by the Royal Family, this land lives in peace and prosperity.

Though, many battles and events dealing with evil sources have occurred, such as the Imprisoning War.

The majority of people in Hyrule are quite religious people and rely and the Triforce to be their savior.

With their great respect for the Triforce, they built the Temple of Time, where the Triforce! rests.

Along with the key to unlock the door to great power lies, the Master Sword.

Catalia
This was Hyrule’s most trusted ally.

Both lands shared a great companionship, as well as product that both needed from each other.

In this peaceful land, Link was able to rest whenever needed.
Hidden within a path from Death Mountain, they had no troubles in their lives.

They had no religious beliefs, nor did they worry of the Evil King Ganon coming for them and their land.

Sacred Realm
This forbidden land is where you arrive when you unlock the Door of Time in the Temple of Time.

With the protection of the Sages (or Wise Men), no one could ever enter nor steal the Triforce.

The only way to unlock the Door to this place is collecting the three spiritual stones.

There is also a prison-like area within the gates of this land, where Ganon was banished to for all eternity.

Termina
This land’s only relation with Hyrule is that it is Hyrule in another dimension.

When Link visits this warped land, he meets many people and creatures that are of similar appearance to those in Hyrule.

With all the same races of Hyrule, they are different in their own ways.

Zora’s has a famous band that plays music for them.

Deku actually have a society of their own, instead of pestering Hylians.

Gorons live in a place where the have homes instead of caves and have Goron races regularly.

Link’s main reason for visiting here is because of an imp, the Skull Kid.

Causing great threat with the downf! all of Termina’s moon, everyone has three days to flee the land.

Dark World
With Ganon on the loose and his powers strong as ever, he obtained the Triforce.

Using this catastrophic power, he transformed what was known as the Sacred Realm into the Dark World.

Everything in this evil land was transformed into something different.

Without the proper protection from Ganon’s evil, they were transformed into something unnatural, such as a Rabbit in Link’s case.

Link eventually destroys this world of greed and hate when he obtained the Triforce in his own hands.

Koholint Island
When Link’s is on a voyage to unknown places, he becomes ship-wrecked and washes up on the shores of this island.

With the Wind Fish, the guardian of this island, asleep, Link could not escape this uncharted island.

Though with the many similar places and people, it’s supposedly all a dream that Link had had when he went into a deep slumber.

Holodrum
As a distant land from Hyrule, Link is sent here because of the Oracle of Seasons, Din.

With her skilled dancing abilities, she parties with the locals for fun.

In Holodrum, lies the Temple of Seasons, the source of all the powers each season holds.

The Maku Tree guards this land.

Onox becomes obsessed with this area, capturing Din and messing up the seasons patterns in Holodrum, luckily Link has restored everything to its proper self again.

Labrynna
Labrynna is closer related to Hyrule than that of Holodrum.

Link ends up in this place due to the Oracle of Ages, Nayru.

Guarded by the Maku Tree (different from Holodrum’s), peace is kept here.

This beautiful singer entertains many of the people here with her beautiful voice.

Veran eventually captures her and Link must save her.

Travel back and forth from Modern to Ancient Labrynna, he saves this land from evil that could have proceeded.

Subrosia

This place is rather unique compared to any of the other lands in Hyrule.

Subrosia is inhabited only by Subrosians, or hooded creatures with white eyes.

In their spare time, the hold dance contest with daily prizes.

This is the only land that Link visits that has a currency of something other that rupees, which is Ore.

Ore can only be found within the Subrosian dirt.

Inhabitants of this land enjoy lava baths.

During Link’s adventure in Oracle of Seasons, the Temple of Seasons crash lands in this world.

Great Sea
When the Gods developed an enormous rainfall upon Hyrule, the Great Sea was the result.

The Great Sea consists of 49 tiny islands.

These are said to be the summits from mountains in the former Hyrule.

The only form of travel is by boat.

It includes many known islands such as Outset, Dragon Roost, Forest Haven, Windfall, Forsaken Fortress, Gale, and many more.

Nobody knows what lies beyond the Great Sea.
