Music Test Start a new game file. Once on the player select screen, highlight the Two Player Contest option, then press Down on the Control Pad five times. An option labeled "Music Test" will appear. Press Left or Right on the Control Pad to scroll through the different types of music. There are 30+ soundtracks to listen to. 2. Cheat Mode There are actually two codes here... 1. Remove the DK Barrels (to make the game more challenging). 2. Start with 50 lives. Notes: - You can get both Dixie and Diddy to appear at the beginning of every level by entering both codes in the order they're listed above. - When you're entering these codes, make sure you're pressing the Left Arrow and the Right Arrow -- not the L or R Buttons. - For both of these codes you need to "Start a New File", if you've already started playing on all 3 files, then you'll need to Erase one of the files before the code will work. (To erase a file, choose "Erase File" from the bottom of the screen when you're on the File Section screen). 3. Kremcoins Go into "Pirate Panic" of "Gangplank Galleon" (first area of the first world). 1. Enter K. Rool's cabin (at the beginning of the area) then exit it, but do not collect the 1-up balloon. 2. Go right and jump over the first two bananas, then continue right and collect the first "bunch" of bananas you come to. 3. Return to K. Rool's cabin, still avoiding those first two bananas, but this time grab the 1-up balloon. 4. Repeat step "2", then return to K. Rool's cabin for the third time (still avoiding those first two bananas). You'll get a Kremcoin worth 75 Kremcoins.
