The Bottle is an extremely useful item that Link can use in a variety of ways. They can hold all kinds of stuff.
Link finds the Bow & Arrow inside the Eastern Palace.
The Arrow can be upgraded to the Silver Arrows as well, and is needed to beat Ganon.
Link got the Bug-Catching Net from the sick boy in Kakariko Village.
Link used it to capture bees and fairies and put them into bottles.
Link could find the Cane of Byrna in a cave in the Dark World. When used it creates a ring around Link making him invulnerable to attacks.
The Cane of Somaria can be found in Misery Mire.
When used it can create blocks to either push on buttons or kill enemies.
The Ether Medallion can be received by reading the Monolith left of The Tower of Hera. Link uses it to create Ice Power around himself.
Link could find the Fire Rod in Skull Dungeon. It can be used to shoot fireballs at enemies and light braziers. However, it consumes magic.
Link can buy the Flippers from King Zora for 500 rupees at the zora infested river. Link used them to swim in the water.
The Flute serves no real purpose except to call the duck at Kakariko Village. Link found it by digging in the Flute Boy's Grove.
The Hookshot is a great weapon that Link uses to grab onto faraway objects and whiz over to them.
The Ice Rod can be found in a cave to the east of Lake Hylia.
It allows Link to shoot ice at his enemies making it easier to kill them.
The Lamp is Link's very first item, and it is necessary to navigate the castle and get into it. However, it uses magic.
Link gets the Magic Boomerang when he throws his normal boomerang into the Well of Wishing. It's twice as fast as the first.
The Magic Cape can be found in the cave under the top-right gravestone in the Light World. It allows Link to turn into a shadow.
The Magic Hammer is a very useful item used to push down pegs and those pop up smily things. It causes some damage as well.
The Magic Mirror can be used to create a warp from the Dark World to the Light World. Link gets it from an old man he helped out.
Link gets the Magic Powder by giving the Old Witch the Mushroom.
It causes random effects by using it.
The Moon Pearl can be found in Hera's Tower and is needed to not become a rabbit in the Dark World.
Link finds the Mushroom in the Lost Woods. Link brought the mushroom back to the Old Witch in the Light World and received magic powder.
Sahasahrala will give Link these shoes to Link when he beats the Eastern Palace. Link used them to dash and break piles of stones.
Link gets the Power Glove from the Desert Palace. They allow Link to pick up most rocks and boulders, but not the black ones.
The Quake Medallion can be received by tossing a rock or flower into a circle of stones. It can be used to creat an Earthquake.
The Shovel is given to Link by the Flute Boy in the Dark World. Link went back there in the Light World and dug up the Flute.
The Titan's Mitt can be found in Blind's Dungeon. Link used them to lift black rocks that are twice as heavy as normal rocks.
To get this sword, Link must find the Blacksmith's partner in the lower part of the Village of Outcasts. Take him back and receive the Bronze Sword.
The Fighter's Sword is Link's main weapon.
Link gets this sword form his uncle when he meets up with him in Hyrule Castle.
Use the Bombos Medallion to blow up a hole in the side of the Pyramid. Link tossed his sword in the fountain and got the Golden Sword.
The Sword of the True Hero. Link got this sword when he got the three pendants and then retrieved it from the Lost Woods.
Link got the Fighter's Shield from his uncle along with the Fighter's Sword at the first of the game.
The Mirror Shield is found in Turtle Rock.
It can repeal beam attacks and offers overall better protection than any other shield.
The Blue Mail is found inside the Ice Palace.
It provides more protection than the Green Jerkin.
The Green Jerkin is the default armor that Link starts off with.
It provides very little protection.
The Red Mail is found inside Ganon's Tower and provides the best protection of all the armor. It reduces Link's damage by half.
